The collection consists of two groups: Ebüzziya Family and Ziyad Ebüzziya. The documents were classified in 177 files and 3878 records.

Ebüzziya Family (67 files: Records between 1-1218): The records in this group generally consist of the following subjects: correspondence of Ebüzziya Mehmed Tevfik, his sons Velid, Talha and Ziya Ebüzziya, as well as press, censorship, Documents and various newspapers about Donanma-yı Osmaniye (Ottoman Navy), Tasvir-i Efkar, Matbaa-i Ebüzziya, New Ottomans, Ali Suavi, Server İskit, Yunus Nadi, Recaizade Ekrem.

Ziyad Ebüzziya (110 files: Records between 1219-3878): The records in this group are Tasvir-i Efkar, Tasvir Neşriyat, GEN Kitap Sarayı, Turkish Culture Service Foundation and museums, books, papers and article works, various translations, Encyclopedic Wall Calendars, Ahmed Rıza file, New Ottomans, Ottoman press and censorship, Galatasaray High School and its publications, book theft, the trials between Z. Ebüzziya and Pars Tuğlacı, Cumhuriyet Newspaper and Fahri Kurtuluş, as well as news on current issues, numerous newspaper clippings and magazine copies, various photographs, pictures, engravings, maps, books and pamphlets, articles written on different subjects, reports and documents from Z. Ebüzziya’s periods as a member of the Maritime Bank Maritime Transportation Board of Directors and the Council of Europe, and correspondence with some writers is formed.
